As featured in the Evening Standard, Chelmsford can expect a few more houses over the next 3 years.
A £1billion scheme will give Beaulieu Park and surrounding area 3600 new homes as well as a new railway station, schools and facilities. This is part of local council's requirement to see 8000 new homes in this area by 2021.
Andy Wren, Director of
Location Chelmsford pictured here in Beaulieu Park made the following comments.
"Whilst there is some pressure to build more houses in the area there must be consideration to access and amenities. When the original Beaulieu Park development commenced construction in 1999/2000 there were rumours of a new railway station. This is key to the new development of North Chelmsford and this time really does need to get approval and funding.
Beaulieu Park consists of some very nice properties ranging from 2 bedroom flats, upto 3000sq ft luxury houses topping £950,000. We are continuing to sell and rent a high level of these quality homes and certainly feel that a new railway station, along with other amenities will only help the area, but there must be consideration to the local roads, schools as you would expect"
